Welcome

With a stunning view over the Reutte basin and the peaks of the Ammergau Alps, the Säulinghaus is nestled in one of the most beautiful spots in the region.

We, Markus and Christoph, are delighted to welcome guests to our mountain every day. For us, the hut is more than just a workplace – it is a place of encounter, hospitality, and connection with nature.

Whether you want to take a cozy break, embark on a mountain tour, or simply enjoy the view: you are warmly welcome here.

Life on the Mountain

Sustainable Energy Supply

Our power is primarily generated by a photovoltaic system. Living in a mountain hut makes you truly appreciate the value of energy and resources.

Delivery to the Mountain

Everything we need for the hut operation comes either by helicopter or is carried up the mountain in backpacks.

Therefore, we place a strong emphasis on mindful handling of food, energy, and water.
